Joel Harber
Sales Director Joel has overseen and directed the leasing and sales efforts for numerous commercial office, medical, student housing and retail projects. The Athens native obtained his degree in Speech Communication from the University of Georgia. His expertise includes strategic planning, lease negotiation, the purchase and sale of commercial real estate, student housing, tenant and buyer representation, and build to suit projects.
Prior to his real estate career, Joel managed an executive search firm in Atlanta, Georgia. He has nearly a decade of combined business experience dealing with C level executives and their business requirements.

Katie Wood
Associate Katie, born and raised in a small town in southwest Georgia, moved to Athens to become an official Georgia Bulldog in 2002. She first joined Landmark Properties in May 2006 as an intern and was offered the position of Sales Associate after she graduated from the University of Georgia's Terry College of Business in December 2006 with a degree in Real Estate.
As a Sales Associate at Landmark, Katie is in charge of communicating with and assisting prospective buyers, as well as scheduling and coordinating closings. She acts as liaison between Landmark and all investors by keeping up with information related to the units they own and communicating with them on any upcoming projects. Katie has also been especially active in the setup and maintenance of Landmark’s expansion into Columbia, South Carolina. In her free time, Katie enjoys UGA-related activities, the ballet, movies, and spending time with family and friends.

Sheila Ingram Colvin
Accounting Manager Sheila heads up the accounting team at Landmark Properties. A native of Moultrie, Georgia, her family has been involved in construction and development there for many years. Sheila attended the University of Montevallo, and graduated with a degree in Music Education. She taught Choral Music in public schools for 10 years before entering the business world.
Prior to joining the Landmark team in 2008, Sheila worked productively as a cost accountant for several builders and developers in the North Georgia area. She began working with Landmark Properties as a contract worker until the principals decided they needed her expertise in-house, readily available to them and their investors. Sheila proactively works with property owners during their purchase and remains on a first-name basis with them once they start receiving their monthly disbursement checks. She is an active supporter of North Oconee High School, where her daughter, Mary Catherine, attends.

Rhonda Smith
Senior Property Manager, Athens Rhonda C. Smith is the Senior Property Manager for Landmark Properties student housing company located in Athens.
Prior to joining Landmark Properties, Inc., Rhonda Smith held the position of Senior Vice President, National Director of Operations, for College Park Communities, GMH Communities Trust’s national student housing company. She was also Director of Property Management with University Housing Group, Inc. where she was responsible for all aspects of operations at all of the UHG-owned and fee-managed properties. Ms. Smith began her career in student apartments in 1983 as the Assistant Manager of Sussex Club in Athens, Georgia. Since that time, she held positions as Property Manager and District Manager with Insignia and Capstone. In 1997, Ms. Smith started up the student apartment management operations for Place Collegiate Properties and in 1998 she began managing the University Housing Group, Inc.’s first asset, “The Abbey at Athens”.
Rhonda has served as an officer and board member of the Pinnacle Pointe Condominium Association in Eatonton, GA, since 2004. She is a member of the Association of Professional Community Managers, is an LCAM – GA, and a CMCA and LCAM-Florida candidate.

Becky Holton
Property Manager, Athens Becky has been a member of the Landmark Properties team since 2007. She moved from Dublin, GA to Athens to attend the University of Georgia. After graduating with a Bachelor’s degree, she took a position as Office Assistant with Landmark. Because of her organization skills and attention to detail, Becky was then offered the position of Property Manager in Athens. Her duties include assisting the senior property manager, property owners and every current and future resident with any needs that they might have. Becky will continue to bring her honesty and professionalism to this growing company.

Sam Stephens
Maintenance Manager, Athens Sam moved to Athens to attend the University of Georgia. After graduating with a BBA in Accounting, he came to work for Landmark as Maintenance Manager. Sam coordinates all the operational aspects of Landmark’s residential properties, including work scheduling and contractor performance reviews for tasks such as maintenance, landscaping and security. He also handles communication between investors, tenants and contractors. Sam often performs much of the maintenance personally to help deliver the highest value possible to Landmark’s investors.

Natalie Gazaway
Office Manager Natalie is the newest member of the Landmark team. Due to her background in administration and customer service, she was awarded the Office Manager position in May of 2008. In addition to holding the position of Office Manger at Landmark Properties, Natalie is also on the board of directors for The Athens Institute of Contemporary Art where she honors the title of Music Director. Natalie graduated from the University of Georgia in 2006 with a BFA in Digital Media, and when outside the walls of Landmark, you can find Natalie playing bass in the local Athens rock group Misfortune500.

Jennifer Horne
Senior Property Manager, Columbia A native of Aiken, South Carolina, Jennifer moved to Columbia to attend The University of South Carolina where she graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. She has served in the property management industry for over fourteen years, working in the areas of traditional and student housing multi-family management, medical/commercial management and project management construction services. Jennifer’s philosophy of management embraces not only ‘managing’ assets in the present, but continually desiring to build worth to assure that the asset is even more valuable in the future. Impeccable Customer service is a well known attribute of hers.
Jennifer enjoys spending time with her husband, family and friends, loves attending sporting events and boating on sunny days on the lake.

Barbara Langley
Assistant Property Manager, Columbia Barbara is a native of Lancaster, South Carolina. Barbara moved to Columbia to attend The University of South Carolina where she graduated in 2005 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and a Minor in Business Administration. She has served in the property management industry since 2008. Barbara is a hard-working self-starter. She is a resourceful, solution-oriented person who has the capability to come up with innovative approaches to assure daily tasks are completed quickly and effectively.
Barbara is actively serving in the role of Assistant Manager at The Retreat in Columbia, SC. She assists in all areas of daily operations and assurance of customer satisfaction.
Before joining the Landmark team, Barbara worked in the customer service industry while attending the University of South Carolina and looks forward to continually learning, growing and contributing to the team’s success.
Barbara enjoys spending time with her family, friends and two dogs Cocoa and Skylar.

Ann Coyle
Senior Property Manager, Tuscaloosa A native of Monroeville, Alabama, Ann moved to Tuscaloosa to attend The University of Alabama. After graduating with both bachelor’s and graduate degrees, she chose to stay in the area. She has been in property management for over twenty years, working in traditional and student housing, and believes that good customer service is the key to any company’s success. In her spare time, Ann enjoys writing, spending time with her son and her dog, and watching sports.

Chrissy Cooke
Senior Property Manager, Knoxville A Tennessee native, Chrissy Cooke has been in the student housing industry since April of 2000. Before she joined the Landmark team, she began her career as a leasing manager for Sterling University Housing, and then advanced her career when promoted to Property Manager in 2002. After GMH Communities Trust acquired her community, she continued to advance her career with the company by becoming Area Manager, overseeing properties in Tennessee and Kentucky. In 2005, she became Regional Manager of the Southeast, overseeing properties in Tennessee, Kentucky, Mississippi, and Louisiana.
Chrissy is proud wife and mother of two beautiful girls. She enjoys Saturdays at Neyland Stadium and loves her Vols!
